I see the potential in this author. I just wish the author would have taken her time with the story. It felt so rushed, and at times you really didn't know who was saying what during the dialogue. I feel like with some revision, and more character development this would be on point. It's a breath of fresh air from all the hoodrat and shoot email up stories, and even a little inspirational. If I had to give some real life advise it would be to take your time with the next book. Rushing these characters made the book fall flat and honestly I only finished it because of where I knew the story was going. Oh there is nothing special about a white girl with a phat mass, u mentioned that sooo many times in this book it almost made me want to erase the book off my kindle.

It's good reading an uplifting short story. When Tony's thought she was defeated she found an out. Good read .
This was ok not much to keep you waiting more.It had a nice ending and glad Tangy got out the hood and gave her daughter a good life,and her man got his self a good job and out the streets.
“I’m A Survivor” has a very powerful plot and theme that is expressed by a very engaging and captivating writing style essentially from front to back, with an underlying message that I am sure many people can relate to.

Many of the scenes are raw and full of grit and I couldn’t help but feel quite sad and morose while reading some parts. What I soon found out while reading though is that Tonya’s story one of hope, not hopelessness, and I was rooting her on all the way until the end. It’s not too often that I find myself becoming this emotionally involved in books, but I suppose it stands as a testament to the author’s raw writing ability and ultimately makes me consider it to be more than a worthwhile read.
